~IN IT TO WIN IT ~
                                                ~If you're not failn you're not tryn~

* Increase propensity in wanting sugar things

* Diet soft drinks lead to increased impulsivity leading cause of obesity

* Bodybuilders leading foods: walnuts, papaya, cherries

* Boost metabolism: chili peppers, green tea, water, exercise

* 80% people eat processed foods: this visious cycle increases saratonin which leads to depression

* Glucose increases triglycerides

* Muscle is metabolically active tissue, the more muscular you are the higher your metabolism will be. This means that you will burn more calories even at rest.

* Skipping meals: counterproductive-body's survival instincts sound an alarm and slows your metabolism

Learning what motivates you is what will make you successful in your fitness journey. Surround yourself with people and things that promote a healthy lifestyle. Make it a goal to be the fittest person in the weight room - or any room for that matter. I focus on the psychology of fitness and success because I believe that if you understand 'why' you want to do something the 'how' part becomes easy. I didn't get fit by reading about how to perform a sit-up. I got fit because something motivated me to want to learn how to perform every sit-up.

* Keep a food diary.  It makes you conscious of what you eat and points out problem areas.

* Read food labels. Know how many calories you eat. Low-fat doesn't necessarily mean low-calorie. If the first five ingredients have sugar, hydro., or enriched put it back and keep looking.

* Limit consuming high-calorie foods. They include chips, fried foods, full-fat dairy products, oils, and sugar-sweetened beverages.

* Eat more vegetables and whole grains at each meal. They contain vitamins and minerals and fill you up faster. Body's need 25 grams of fiber per day, highly recommended for THE flat belly.

* Eat slowly. This will help you know when you are full.

* Watch portion sizes. It's a good idea to eat a little less of everything all the time.

* Eat breakfast, and don't put it off. The sooner you eat after waking, the more calories you'll burn that day.

* Get plenty of sleep. People who sleep less than seven hours a night gain weight more easily.

* Be active. Try to exercise at least 30 minutes on most days of the week. But check with your doctor first if you haven't exercised in a while or if you have a chronic medical condition.
Walking, jogging and riding a bicycle are good ways to burn calories. The important thing is to be consistent. People who exercise are more likely to maintain their weight loss than people who are sedentary.

One more thing... and I can't stress enough... bottom line is....
